Description: Imagine you are John Cabot, Vasco Nunez de Balboa, Juan Ponce de Leon, Christopher Columbus, Henry Hudson, or Jacques Cartier exploring America for the first time. What problems will you face? What accomplishments will you make? How will you feel exploring a new country? This web quest will guide students through a study of the Spanish and English explorers who were of the first to explore America, what their obstacles, accomplishments and motivations were.
