Procedures:

First: Let's read the story of course! If you look below you will see a video of the story. So go ahead and watch the video! Don't forget to read along with the reader.

Next: After reading along with the video I would like you to write a short summary of the major events in the story. When you are done writing the summary go back and be sure there are no errors. Later in the journey you will be graded on your creativity, neatness, illustrations, and correctness during both activities.

After the Summary: Next in the adventure I want you to think creatively and put on your thinking cap on! We will be creating our very own individualized story of Elephant and Piggie! Each short story should have illustrations and at least one sentence per page. Again be sure to think creatively in your own unique way in your illustrations; and always double check for errors in your sentences.

At Last : We are almost at the end of our adventure. I hope you have enjoyed the activities and the story! I know that you all did a wonderful job. At the bottom of this page you will see a link that says more reading. This link will help you find more Mo Willems books that you can enjoy. Also there is another video story If you have extra time take this time to listen to the additional story and browse through more books.
