Elements of a Story
Process
- First you will read the story of Cinderella together as a class to learn about the 6 elements of a story-- plot, setting, characters, conflict, climax, and solution. http://www.learner.org/interactives/story/
- You will be assigned to a team of 4 students.
- Read along with the story assigned to your group at http://www.meegenius.com/. When finished, print out the worksheet "6 Elements of a Story" and work together and each fill out your worksheet and turn it in.
- Your team will now make up your own story! Your team will print out one worksheet "6 Elements of a Story" and I will give you a title of a made-up story. Start with one team member and go around to the left and each come up with one element of the story until you have all 6 elements.
- Each team will present their stories to the class.
