The Pennsylvania Jameses

Love...         Money...           Power...          Revenge...             Scandal...

These are the ingredients to a great story. Two men from South Central Pennsylvania led lives filled with tales of Love, Money, Power, Revenge, and Scandal.  One man became the leader of the nation in a time of great turmoil while the other left the country, became a millionaire, and later returned to become a respected businessman.  The two men are very similar, yet very different.  We will be studying the life’s of James Buchanan and James Lick.  We will be studying their impact one nationally and the other locally.
