Using a Thesaurus

Using a thesaurus will help you review synonyms as well as make your writing much better.  When writing a story, use a thesaurus to look for words to replace some "worn-out" words like "said," "big," or "little."  When you replace the word, make sure to reread the sentence or story to make sure the word sounds right in the story or sentence.  If not, try another word.  Good luck!
