Welcome: Know Your Computer - Part 1: HARDWARE
Description: This WebQuest is a culmination project for third year students ages 13-14 years old who were given a basic introduction to the computer and its components. It will examine the hardware components of the computer system namely input and output devices. The WebQuest is designed to assess the students' understanding of the software applications taught in class. These include word-processing, presentation and spreadsheet software. Students will utilise a variety of resources to gather information and they will also utilise the internet as a research and communication tool. This activity is designed to be completed during a two hour lesson with students emailing submissions and checklists to the teacher.
