Title: Campaign 2008
Description: This webquest is designed to allow students to investigate the 2008 Presidential candidates' stances on certain issues. Students, in pairs, are appointed "campaign managers" for one of sixteen candidates (8 Democrats & 8 Republicans). They collect data from the official campaign websites and record it on an "Issues Chart." They will then choose the two issues they think are most important and investigate the positions of the other candidates on those two issues.
This webquest is designed to be part of a larger project in which students create and present campaign artifacts (posters, bumper stickers, pins, shirts, etc.), but certainly can be used by itself to get students involved in the upcoming election.
