Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl

Level : Year II
Written by: Rogelio T. Alegrid
Length of Unit: 7 Weeks

I. ABSTRACT
Anne Frank is the famous Holocausts victim who has been known to the world because of her diary which serves as an account of their hiding, and more importantly, as an outlet of her expressions of her honest views of relion, family, friendship, and war. The challenge is to link her life with the lives of our students so that the reading of her diary is a profound experience.

Throughout this webquest, students will explore several themes that are present in Anne Franks diary. The students will spend time applying these themes to their own life to draw a connection to a little girl and a life that seem unimaginable. As this is happening, students will be writing a journal of their own to explore the triumphs and challenges in their own lives.
