Established Goals: To create an understanding , awareness and appreciation of music past and present through exploration.
                                                                                STANDARDS

Music Standard 6: Listening to, analyzing and describing music through time
Music Standard 9.1: Apply traditional and traditional technologies for producing, performing, and exhibiting works in the arts or works of others.
ISTE NETS: 1. Promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness
Technology Standard 4:
  • The student will use a variety of media and formats to communicate information and ideas to multiple audiences.
  • Choose the appropriate tool, format, and style to communicate information
  • Independently use technology tools to create and communicate for individual and/or collaboration projects.
  • Produce documents demonstrating the ability to edit, reformat, and integrate various software tools.
                                                                              TARGETED LEARNERS

Our targeted learners are students in middle school grades 6-8th, however this project can be extended to higher or lower levels depending on the resources in the classroom and technical abilities of the learners. It works well as a small group project because it promotes collaboration and allows students that learn in different ways to work together and take part in creating a whole project.
