Dear colleagues from all over the world. I want to tell you and to encourage you to use a WebQuest as a very rewarding tool for teaching and learning. I will share many constructive pieces of information with you how to make a WebQuest and how to use it. I found many rewarding information during my course at the University of Oregon. Here is the first site where you can find how to make your own WebQuest. About WebQuests - a brief introduction. This also explains non-web WebQuests that you can use offline.
http://www.zunal.com/. Here is also another site which can help you a lot. WebQuest Page - the original. Read the background information (http://www.webquest.org/index-resources.php).
You can also find video resources describing what a webquest is and how
to create on on that page. Search for examples that fit what you do at http://www.webquest.org/search/index.php. I have to say that you should not be afraid, just do it. It is very easy and it will facilitate your teaching and your students' learning. It will also help students to develop and to improve many skills which are necessary for students to learn English better and to become autonomous learners. |
