This would be a good project for kids to get used to the signs and expressions associated with mathematical process and how to solve using variables. As well it helps with class participation and relation to worldly experiences.
Include group activities, such as coming up with own personal experiences and presenting through a word problem. Ensure that chidlren are able to fully understand what is asked before beginning the assignment, should be a general understanding of what is asked. Go through operations as well as variables and the meanings behind them. Include several photographs that provide visual aid for those of requirement and have fun! this is intended for both class, personal and teacher evaluation that enables the flow of knowledge and fun! |
