This Webquest is designed for secondary school
students (9-11th forms) with the aim to find out more about the
English language, how it may differ according to the country where it’s spoken
and formulate some differences between English and Russian. Students will make
2-3 groups according to the number of students in the class and each group will
investigate the case with the letter that is given. As a final product they
will create a new letter in British English, make up a presentation about the
differences in British and American English, discuss the statement “It’s better to study American/British English” in the form of a
debate and finally compare some aspects in English and Russian languages. |
