Each student is to write out what they they think they already know about each of the organs we are studying: brain, heart, lungs, muscles, skin, bones After they do that they should use the websites provided on the first page to research the true definition and function of each of these organs. Finally, there are games in each of the websites provided and after the assignment is finished the kids will play the games for a while.
We will discuss what every one learned afterward. I will have a pictionary game with definitions of characteristics and functions of these organs that we will play in the class when I split them up into two teams. Winner of the game in class gets a special treat!! |
