My number one objective for this lesson is to provide the
essence of why writing a short story, an article, or whatever the student is
trying to convey in his or her composition is essential to their writing
development. There are few approaches that they need to take into
consideration why contemplating any writing assignment. These approaches
will be key parts of their assignments if the students embark upon writing an
effective story that would inspire readers.
Students should understand that writing is one means of
communicating one thought on paper in a organize manner. Although they
normally get their message across verbally to others, putting their taught on
paper is a part of that communication.
The Process Approach with its various segments is the
fundamental basis for this teaching assignment. Gunning (2006), argue,
“Implicit in the Process Approach is the road of writer’s life. Each of
us is a writer. We have written letters, essays, lists, notes, plans,
goals, diary and journals entries, term papers, and stories and poem.”
