-You will learn and understand a health issue of today and how it affects people. You will also answer who, what, when, where, why, and what’s next about your topic.
-You will have access to online sites as well as full access to the library for hard copy resources. (see attached resource list)
-You will determine which source will give you to most accurate information based on the topic. You will need the correct information to answer the 7W questions.
-You will spend class time in the media center and the library to find sources
-You will find the information in the text or site by looking for key words and key elements (heading, titles, sub-titles, etc) from the resources you have found.
-You will read, listen, or view the resources that you have.
-You will look for those key elements in your text to pull accurate information to take notes on.
-You will decide how to organize your notes and the information that you got for your resources. (Outline, rough draft, main points, etc..)
-You will accurately present the information that you have obtained by writing a report using what you learned, your own information, and answering the 7 W questions.
-You will evaluate your report based on the instruction and expectations of the teacher and the TL before the product is turned in. (based on the rubric)
-You will evaluate what they have learned through this lesson and through your research, you will evaluate yourself as to how you completed your given tasks.
