The endproduct will be: A travel itinerary (a plan of the journey including the route) and a map of the Uk. The map includes the route and the places you will visit. During a poster presentation you will need to tell where to stay, what to do and how to get there.
Step 1: You will be assigned to a team of three students Step 2: You and your group have to gather information from the Web First the three of you should find out what National Parks you want to visit. Then divide the tasks into three, one for each person: - one person looks up the route - one person looks for a place to stay - one person looks up an activity Gather information and make notes. Come together after all items are done for one park. If the person who looks up the route finishes first, he or she can help to find other activities.
For more information on how to find all this, go to attachment one.
All information will be put in the travel itinerary, which you can find in attachment two.
Step 3: Design a map of the UK which includes your holiday plan, you can find maps on the internet, but you will have to draw one yourself on a poster for the presentation. So find a map of the UK here and draw the outlines on a sheet.
Step 4: Because you will be using a lot of future tenses during your presentation (We are going to...), do the exercise here. Make sure you copy the exercise and hand them in with your travel itinerary. Step 5:
The three of you must design a poster presentation on your journey along the National Parks. Make use of pictures to make your story more interesting. Devide the work equally: make sure that not just one person does all the speaking. Good Luck! |
