Day 1: We will learn about where George Washington grew up. We will read about his family, including parents, brothers, and sisters. We will examine his education and first jobs.- Day 2: Today we will learn about George Washington's role in the Revolutionary War. We will read about the major role he played in this country gaining freedom from Great Britain and his major battles.
- Day 3: Today we will examine how George Washington became the first President of the United States of America. We will read about his inaguration and life as the first Commander in Chief and how Presidents followed his influence.
- Day 4: Today we will learn about where George Washington spent his final years and his favorite home. There is an online tour of his most famous home Mount Vernon.
- Day 5: We are going to look at how we remember George Washington and the common places we see him today.
