In this part you will read about the questions you must answer to complete the webquest. The students need to split into 2 groups for this, each group will have different questions to answer.
- Group one - A Tourism Site Business
Your task will be to answer or fulfill the following tasks and questions.
Brief introduction to the area
Location of the actual business
Weather/climate
What forms of transportation are available, i.e. public/private/guided
A SWOT analysis on the business
An overview of the business and the services/facilities it brings to the site
Other attractions in the area
How your business will transform the area/site
- Group two - A Tourism Product
Your task will be to answer or fulfill the following tasks and questions.
What is the product and target market?
What are the methods that will be used to advertise?
Where is the location of the product?
What are the tourist sites that will be included?
What are the tourist activities that will be included?
Explain the typical programmes and activities that will be offered to visitors.
What special activities will be on offer?
What services and facilities will be available to tourists?
What are the prices for individuals or families?
Students will earn points for originality & creativity. Photos and a report of an actual visit to the location will earn even more points for credibility and hardwork. All the best. |
