- A cafe or popular gathering spots that many black intellectuals might frequent in hopes of hearing some good poetry or just having an intriguing conversation.
- A good night club to go to that evening where the best bands and musicians will be playing and all the famous people are hanging out for New Years Eve.
Come up with a plan for the morning activities that include what art exhibits are there to go to and which artist they may be featuring. Use the links below to find out where African American Art was being displayed at that time. Also who where some of the Artist of that era and which ones would you want your guest to see the most. Include the names of at least 4 Visual Artist in your agenda as the premiered artist at location that you will be providing.
Then that afternoon plan to take your guess to one of the popular meeting spots for writers, poets and intellectuals. Use your imagination to set the scene and entice your family and friends into going to listen and discuss any and everything in the center of African American culture in the world at the time. Name the location of the Cafe' or gathering spot and provide the names of 3 poets, 3 writers and 3 intellectuals that you will be likely to meet and interact with by going to this place.
Last but not least that night you want to take your guess out to one of the most happening night spots that you can find. Tell me who you are going to see perform on stage as well as what famous figures of the time will be right there bringing in the New Years with you. Name at least 4 of the big name entertainment acts that will be performing at the venue and also name a few famous Actor's, Entertainers or other prominent figures of the Harlem Renaissance that are rumored to be in attendance that night.
