The Australian Gold Rush WebQuest Process:- During this webquest, students will be researching and discovering the history behind and many different aspects of the Australian Gold Rush period.
- The Australian Gold Rush web quest is to be undertaken over an eight week period, one lesson per week.
- Students are put into groups of two or three by the teacher and each student is allocated a theme book.
- According to the weeks webquest questions, students are to research their information in their groups and either complete their activities in their groups or individually.
- When researching in groups, Wikipedia may not be used a an information source as its information may not be accurate.
- Once students have completed each weeks activity, the students will be awarded a gold nugget! Extra nuggets may be awarded for outstanding work.
