The students will work in a group of 4 - 7 students, creating a PowerPoint presentation on the topic of Augmented Reality. Each student will complete 3-5 PowerPoint slides on their particular portion of the project. The PowerPoint should take 7-10 minutes. (It is possible some students may have to complete more than one section). Sections of the PowerPoint will include:
1. Definition of Augmented Reality 2. History of Augmented Reality 3. Augmented Reality field trips 4. Participatory Simulations 5. Medical Education Simulations 6. Digital Object Manipulation 7. Future of Augmented Reality The group presentation will be evaluated according to the evaluation rubric (found on the evaluation page of this webquest). Additionally, each student will complete a 2-3 page paper reflecting on the other three presentations. Reflections should include three sections: 1) Discussion of the trends presented, 2) Examples of augmented reality, and 3) Personal response to augmented reality technology. The reflection paper will be graded according to the evaluation rubric (found on the evaluation page of this webquest). |
