t Assessment Portfolio
Assessment Portfolios demonstrate student competence and skill for well-defined areas. These may be end-of-course or program assessments primarily for evaluating student performance. The primary purpose is to evaluate student competency as defined by program standards and outcomes. This type is also know as the "working" portfolio. Specifically, this approach involves a collection of work over time showing growth and improvement reflecting students' learning of identified outcomes. The documentation portfolio can include everything from brainstorming activities to drafts to finished products. The collection becomes meaningful when specific items are selected out to focus on particular educational experiences or goals. It can include the bet and weakest of student work.

This type of portfolio is usually required for program completion / gradution requirement. Each college or program might require different learning outcomes or standards (ISTE Standards, NCATE Standards, Program Standards, Student Learning Outcomes etc). Your first task would be to find out what standards, learning outcomes, or obejectives you need to build your portfolio around. Once you have the list of the standards/objectives/outcomes, you can build your portfolio with your zPortfolio account.
