Part 4: Building Your WebQuest

ACCOUNT INFORMATION
In order to create a WebQuest, you need an account. This account will help you not only to create a Webquest, but also update it anytime you wish, view reviews posted, view statistics and etc. You will not be able to create a WebQuest without an account.

How to Register: Go to Registration Page and fill out the form by providing the required information. Remember to enter a valid email address, because all new accounts will need one-time-activation.
Activate Account: Once you register for an account, before you can continue creating your webquest, you must verify your email address by following the instructions in the email. You will need to click on the activation link sent to your email. Remember, email will be sent to the email address you entered in the registration form. If you provided an invalid account, you will need to create another account. Remember, ALL NON-ACTIVATED ACCOUNTS will be deleted in 5 days. If for some reason you do not believe you received an email from us please check your junk mail or spam folder. In some rare cases email from zunal.com may be blocked by your ISP. In this case send mail to admin@zunal.com
point Forgot Password: If you forgot your password, you can go to "password retrieve" page link provided on the login page and have the system email you your password
point Change Password: You can change your password once you login to your control panel

Why do I give you my e-mail address?
Do not worry, we are not e-mail collectors. E-mail is needed for "Forget password" function. If you forget your password, the system will send you by e-mail.
What happens, if I register with a fake e-mail address?
Each account requires email activation. You will not be able to activate your account.

BUILDING YOUR WEBQUEST
Once you create an account and activate it through your email, you will need to login to the system to start creating your webquest. Once you login, you will see that each section of your WebQuest (title page, introduction, tasks...) is automatically created for you. You can start from any of the sections you desire. To add/update your pages, click on the section you would like to update by clicking the add/update button in the bottom of that page.

Once you click on the add/update button, the page will open in edit mode and give you access to update your pages. You will also see some scaffolding to guide you creating each section of the WebQuest.

Image Upload: You can upload an image related to your WebQuest for each section (optional).
HTML Editor: You will have an HTML editor ready for you to add/update text.
Resource Files (Attachments): On the process page, you will be able to upload up to 3 external (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc) to your WebQuest (optional).

Remember: With an activated account, you can login and continue working on your webquest any time you want. You can create different pages at different times. You will always start from where you left off.

point Title Page: This page will ask information about your WebQuest including Top Picture, Title, Description, Grade Level, Curriculum Area, and Keywords
point Introduction: Top Image and Content Text
point Task: Top Image and Content Text
point Process: Top Image, Content Text, Up to Three Uploads (maximum 2mb)
point Evaluation: Top Image and 4X4 Rubric
point Conclusion: Top Image and Content Text
point Teacher Page: Top Image and Content Text
point About Author: A Photo of the Author and Biographical Information.

REVIEWS & RATES
This section will list the reviews and rates that have been submitted for your webquest. You will be able to view, modify or delete the reviews.

Reviews

point View Reviews & Rates: When you login to your account, you will be able to view all the reviews and rates posted for your webquest. The system will automatically calculate the average rate for you.
point Edit / Delete Reviews: You will be able to modify reviews if you find them inappropriate.

STATISTICS
This section will show you information about your visitors. Your statistics page will be updated when you complete your webquest.

WEBQUEST SETTINGS
The settings page is to help you to change the "Theme" and "Language" of your WebQuest. Once you change the theme or language, the interface of your webquest will immediately change. You can always go back and change your settings using this page.
