Activity #1  Tribal Brochure

For the purpose of completing this task, you and your group must choose to either use Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher (the one I suggest) to create your tribal brochure.  The websites that you will need to do this task are found in the process section of this webquest.  The class will be divided into four groups.  Each group will be assigned a tribe to study.  Each member of the group will complete his/her part of the assignment.  All brochures must have one picture of a person or persons from your assigned tribe.  Divide the categories between the members of your group.  The following categories should be discussed in your brochure in order for the first part of your quest to be completed.  Remember that your group will do one brochure together that contains all of your information.

1.)  language, transportation, and unique facts about your tribe; 2.)  roles of the men, women, and children within tribal life; 3.)  tribal locations, homes, clothing, foods/hunting; 4.) the history of the tribe (wars, treaties, weapons, and artifacts)  When your brochure has been completed, you and your group will share what you have learned with your classmates
