Not all students work at the same pace or work alike. This is where the creativity comes in. Students who need differentiated instruction can implement one or several of the following methods:

  • Use of power point instruction
  • opportunity to use visuals
  • teacher may need to set up the graphic organizer
  • give more examples for cause/effect papers
  • more time
  • have a partner
  • have audio available
  • give highlighters
  • bring in more technology
  • hands-on activities

These are just a few ideas to help students who may have the need of differentiated instruction.
