They have to work in teams to find out by themselves what blogs are, how they started connecting people around the world and how to create their own blog. Before doing that, they will have to read the best 2006-2007 blogs and then make their own list of Top 5 entertainment, technology and education blogs. They will also have to research on some helpful tools on how to make a killer blog and add videos, powerpoint presentations and podcast to their blogs.

The Haiku: A Poetic Portrait of Cinderella Around the World
The soothing sounds of the river to the ocean are as rhythmic as a strokes of a painting or the phrases of a poem. Much like the rhythmic syllables of a Haiku, a japanese poem.
This lesson combines the soothing sounds of water on the river, relaxing music and a wonderful "Haiku" that reveals the students' thoughts on life, beautiful places and the cinderella story all over the world.
The goal of this lesson is to teach students to use their imaginations; to positively express themselves freel; yto embrace the cultures of others; to be learn to appreciate literature from other cultures, and to learn to explore and positively express those feelings through creative poetry and painting with " Ocean Water & MudColors" (A combination of Water Colors, River and/or Ocean Water and MUD).
After learning about the different feelings that one can have and expressing those feelings in different ways, students will begin to explore the wonderful facts about TN.
The students will also listen to the soothing sounds of the river, while painting an "poetic portrait painting", with awesome self-made "Mud Colors" to reveal their interpetation of "Cinderella" and the culture that their "Cinderella represents.
Students will enjoy learning through technology by participating in a "Haiku Journey and Exploration" online, as they express themselves by creating their own Haiku poem revealing their feelings and thoughts about their journeys, Cinderella around the world, the ocean or river and any other feelings they might have.
Finally students learn to appreciate the areas of Science, Music, Art, Social Studies, Life Skills, Self Expression, English, Literature, Language and Technology.
They learn to value and appreciate the art, poetry and cultures of other countries from tennessee to around the world.
They learn to express themselves with no fear of rejection or failure.
