What if you could live forever.  Never grow old. Achieve immortality.  Sound Good?  That is what happened to Henrietta Lack.  Well, not exactly, but it is what happened to Henrietta Lack's cells.  The HeLa cells have been growing continuously since 1951.  Why?  Cancer.  Cancer happens when cells will not stop dividing.  Cancerous cells will continue to divide until normal cells can no longer get the nutrients they need to function and survive.  Immortality - no - cancer is what happens when good cells go bad.
