The election year of 2008 has beenone of the most talked about election cycles. The candidates are unique in many ways. The democratic side of the primary process had two candidates rise to the forefront. Both candidates were unique because of the obvious. The republican side generated its own excitement because of choices that were made.
The 2008 election puts social studies in the forefront because of the different aspect associated with the candidates and the major issues. We will examine sone of the candidates and some of the issues.There are some issues that were at the forefront four years ago and the same is true for this current election cycle for 2012.
