Solar Energy: our most important alternative to replace fossil fuels.
Our world is in great danger to becoming too warm to host human life. Our activity today is to brainstorm different ideas and identify how to develop solar energy in order to reduce the use of fossil fuels that create the so called greenhouse effect to our planet. The effect of CO and CO2 emmissions is threatening our civilization and if nothing is done our planet will heat in between 3 - 5 degrees Celsius in the next 100 years. This will cause sea level to rise causing the entire planet to be in danger of extinction. This will become a real threat to any kind of life in our planet.
Your groups goal is to suggest several alternatives in order to develop a solar power collector that will allow vehicles and transportation systems to use a dependable source of power that will reduce the use of oil by selecting the right materials that will optimize the use of solar energy. : Solar Energy.
