This WebQuest  is prepared for the students enrolled in GPSPRECAL/TRIG/STAT course in their senior year. In Unit 4,  Introduction to Trigonometry, the students will be introduced Unit Circle to define six trigonometric Functions.. In fact, students were first introduced to right‐triangle trigonometry and its applications in Mathematics II.  In this unit, students will expand their understanding of trigonometry as they are asked to use the circle to define the trigonometric functions. They will come to understand angle measurement in both degrees and radians and will be provided with experiences in applying the six trigonometric functions as functions of angles in standard position and as functions of arc lengths on the unit circle. Activities in this WebQuest will provide the process and the resources to find values of trigonometric functions by using given points on the terminal sides of standard position angles. At the conclusion of theactivities, students should be able to find values of trigonometric functions by using the unit circle.
