J.K. Rowling and Stephanie Myers are two authors who caught the hearts of young readers today with "Harry Potter", "Twilight" and "New Moon," just to name a few. Literature are documented words on a page that make us wonder and hope, make us laugh, mad or even sad. These words on endless pages give us information of where we were and why we are where we are today. It gives us a clear picture of other lands and cultures with painted words on a page. Most importantly, literature gives us a deeper understanding of the changing world around us through the eyes of those who can, so eloquently, tell us through written words in a variety of genres. This webquest will allow you to explore a wide variety of genres from the areas of Non-fiction literature, American, British and World literature. You will also be able to explore diverse literature, and literature authored by women. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to investigate a list of fiction and nonfiction literature to add to your own collection of personal favorites.
