-Geography and Climate : Koh Chang, Trat’s largest island, is the second largest in Thailand, behind Phuket. The interior of the island is mountainous and covered with tropical rain forest. The weather is cool and pleasant with plenty of sunshine between November and February, and average temperatures hover around 34 C during the months of March and April.
-Hilights: The sea here is extremely clear and a brilliant blue color. There are some excellent corals at shallow depths on many of the beaches. The waterfalls here are not particularly high but fall into a huge plunge pool in a very beautiful jungel setting, a good place for a cooling swimming. Moreover, the people here are very kind and friendly; therefore, you can enjoy yourself with beautiful landscape and good people.
-Activities:
1. Diving & Snorkelling --> You can book your diving and snorkelling by visiting the offices of the dive shops to see and enjoy impressive reefs and fish. Turtels can be spotted and Whale Sharks are also seen in the area.
2. Sports & Exercise --> You can rent canuoes or kayak to travel around the sheltered mangrove-forested bay.
3. Beaches --> All of the beaches are in attractive setting with accommodation and facilities. A wide range of dining and entertainment is available for you.
4. Walking --> The mountainous jungel interior of the island offers some challenging and enjoyable walking. People can trek to the jungel and can arrange overnight treks.
