Find a pen pal in one of the Latin American countries and ask them questions as if you were to take a trip over there and get to know about the places and culture. Find out everything you would like to know about the country and things you would need to fly up there; get the costs and how much money you might need for a week or weekend. Find out about all the expenses. You may also want to get to know your pen pal if you plan on taking a vacation over there you are able to actually go and meet them or even have a place to stay.
You will be presenting to the class about your pen pal and the country you chose. You will be talking to your pen pal for a month or maybe a little over than a month depending on how things go. 4-5 letters are required before starting your project. You will capture a full insight on whatever you may want to know about this country and be able to explore a whole new culture. If any questions do not hesitate to ask!
