Part of having a successful project is working TOGETHER.  If one person does not fulfill their commitment, the whole team is weakened. even though this is a group project, you will be evaluated individually based on your participation in the project. All team members are responsible for contributing equally to this effort. Each company president will be required to log all work completed by the individuals on the team. Individuals are also expected to log all work you have done to contribute to the team effort. The following rubric will be used in scoring your work.

Individual company promotion application. The application includes factual information that is correct and relevant to the topic. Highly creative approach with thoughts and opinions about the 2 essential questions. It is also clear that you made a significant contribution to your group. The application includes a good amount of factual information with minimal inaccuracy. Creative and thoughtful. The 2 essential questions are well explained. It is clear that you have worked hard for your group. The application contains some inaccuracies or content may not always be relevant to topic. Some creativity and addresses the essential questions. Some contributions to the group. The application does not contain any facts. The 2 essential questions have not been clearly addressed. Little effort has been made for the group.

Group Work Outstanding written which demonstrates analysis, creativity and a highly functioning team. The Essential Questions are fully supported by evidence and persuasively argued. Well done set of group materials showing analysis, accuracy and full participation of group members. The Essential Questions are well addressed. Average group materials showing some thought, coherence and attempts at teamwork. The Essential Questions are answered. Weak quality of group materials showing lack of participation, little analysis and effort. The Essential Questions are poorly answered.

Game Day ~ presentation of the group's board game. Highly creative and imaginative product. It incorporates all the right elements of a good game, clever use of detail, effort, FUN and answers the 2 essential questions through playing the game. Nicely crafted product. There is artistic vision, craftsmanship, a clarity of content related to the topic. The game is FUN and corresponds to the group's answers to the 2 Essential Questions. Average creativity which demonstrates a reasonable attempt to construct the product. Some detail, facts and good game elements are present. The FUN factor is OK. Weak creativity showing little thought, effort or content. Not much FUN to play.

Economic content about the topic The board game brilliantly teaches a teenage player about important economic facts related to the topic. All parts of the game demonstrate reinforce learning. Nicely done job of teaching and learning about the economy and topic. The content is clear and comes through in playing the game. Reasonable attempt to include economic facts related to the topic into the game. Some details and facts are present. The game offers few relevant facts about the economy. It may not fully connect to the topic.
