Student has the knowledge to understand how the acquisition of the Louisiana Purchase not only changed the size of America but helped economically yet also brought about changes that America may not have argumentally been ready to face.

The expanision brought about the settlement of the West and introduced over 200 different varieties of plants and animals.

The Bill of Rights appear to have no effect on the way the natives were treated at this time, we have to question ourselves why? What could America of done differently? Do you think we follow the Bill of Rights today in our dealings with other cultures?
